Abstract:
This core course introduces the fundamentals and technical aspects of time-resolved techniques used to probe transient states of condensed matter.
The focus will be on ultrafast linear and nonlinear optical spectroscopy, time-domain THz spectroscopy and ultra-fast electrical transport based on sub-picosecond current pulses generated in photo-conductive switches.3rd , 6th, 17th & 20th March 2025
