The temperature dependence of the electronic structure of a tetragonal FeSe1-xSx

Iron-based superconductors are unconventional superconductors characterized by a rich phase diagram. In this presentation, I will show a detailed Angle-Resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy (ARPES) study on the electronic structure of tetragonal FeSe1-xSx with a sulfur substitution of x = 0.21. The tetragonal FeSe1-xSx is a multiband system with two electron bands crossing Fermi level at the Brillouin zone corner and two hole bands at the Brillouin zone center and is considered to be a compensated semi-metal. My investigation explores the evolution of band structure across a temperature range from 4K to 300K. As the temperature increases, the electrons pockets grow in size while the hole pockets shrink, which is consistent with an increase of chemical potential.
